Privacy policy
Freedom Age (getfreedomage.com) is run by NAVARO Pte Ltd, 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28 Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051. NAVARO decides how your personal data is used here and is responsible for it under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This page says what we collect at each step, why, who else handles it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us.
In short
- The free questions do not ask for your email or phone number. Your answers are worked out on our server and are not kept there, unless you save a plan, buy one, or answer a form an adviser sent you.
- We do not sell or rent your details, and we use no advertising or analytics cookies. We count page views by page type and referring site, with no cookie and nothing that identifies you (see "Cookies and your browser").
- We do not call or text you for marketing.
- Email hello@getfreedomage.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
What we collect, step by step
The free questions
You tell us the ages and residency of the people in the household (a first name is optional), incomes and loan commitments, your home (its type, the project or address, the unit, what it is worth, the loan on it, the CPF used and when it was bought), cash and CPF savings, and the monthly income you want and from what age. These answers are sent to our server to work out your Freedom Age and are sent straight back; we do not keep them there. A copy stays in your own browser so you can come back to them, until you press Start again or clear your browser's storage. We count that a result was shown, without recording who you are or what you answered.
Some answers are looked up as you type. An address or postal code search is sent to OneMap, the Singapore Land Authority's map service. A condominium unit (project, block, floor and stack) is checked against recorded sales in Headroom, NAVARO's condominium analytics, to suggest the month you bought it.
If you describe a move in your own words, that text and your figures, without names, are sent to Anthropic's AI model to write the reading of it. Please do not put names, contact details or account numbers in that box.
"Copy a link to this plan" puts your answers inside the link itself. Anyone you send the link to can read them. We do not receive it.
Keeping a plan
If you choose "Email me my plan", we ask for your email address and send it a six-digit sign-in code. That creates a NAVARO account, the same account Headroom uses, holding your email address and the plans you save with their answers and results. We email you the link to your plan. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in on that browser for 30 days.
The box for occasional notes is separate and unticked. Only if you tick it do we record your consent to receive a few emails a year on the rules and the market.
Buying a plan
When you start checkout we store your answers and the plan, so that it can open as soon as payment is confirmed. Payment is taken by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe tells us the payment went through and the email address you used, and we keep the product, the amount, the date and Stripe's payment reference with your plan. If a paid plan does not open, we are emailed automatically with your email address and the payment reference, so that we can make your plan and send it to you.
A form an adviser sent you
If NAVARO sent you a private link to answer the questions, we keep what you submit: your name, your email if you give it, your answers and any note. They are emailed to NAVARO's own inbox, and a NAVARO adviser uses them to prepare your plan.
If we then send you your plan at a private link, that page holds a copy of the plan as it was on the day it was made, including the names on it. Anyone who has the link can open it, so keep it to yourself. We count how many times it is opened and when it was last opened, but not who opened it or from where. A withdrawn link stops opening; the copy stays on our records until you ask us to delete it.
A consultation
If you buy the plan with a consultation, we pass your name, the contact details you give us for the session and your plan to the registered property salesperson we refer you to, so that they can arrange the session and prepare for it. From then on the salesperson and their agency also hold those details, under their own obligations under the PDPA. We pass nothing to any salesperson unless you have bought a consultation.
Writing to us
Email you send to hello@getfreedomage.com is kept in our Google Workspace mailbox.
Why we use it
To work out and show your figures; to keep your plan and send it to you; to take payment and unlock what you bought, and to make your plan if it does not open; to arrange a consultation you have bought; to reply when you write to us; to keep the site secure and stop abuse, for example by limiting how many requests one connection can make; and to count, in total and without names, how the site is used. If you ticked the box, also to send you the occasional note. We use your details for nothing else, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Our basis under the PDPA
We rely on your consent, which you give when you provide your details for the purpose stated at that step, and which you can withdraw at any time. Where passing your details on is needed to give you what you asked for, such as sending a payment to Stripe or your details to the salesperson for a consultation you bought, we rely on your deemed consent. We keep the site secure and stop abuse under the legitimate interests exception in the PDPA. The occasional notes go only to people who ticked the box.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the site, its database and its file storage, and handles every request, including your IP address, to deliver the page and protect it.
- Stripe takes payments.
- Resend sends our emails: sign-in codes, the link to a saved plan, and the confirmation of a paid plan.
- Google Workspace holds our mailbox.
- Anthropic runs the AI model that reads a move you describe in your own words, and receives only that text and your figures without names.
- OneMap, the Singapore Land Authority's map service, answers address and postal code searches.
- The salesperson and their agency, for a consultation you have bought.
Headroom and Flatworth are NAVARO's own services, not other companies. Some of the providers above store or process data outside Singapore; where they do, it is handled under their own data processing terms.
How long we keep it
- Answers to the free questions: not kept on our server. The copy in your browser stays until you press Start again or clear it.
- Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and sign-in sessions after 30 days. Codes and session tokens are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
- Your account and saved plans: until you delete the account or ask us to delete them.
- Payment records: kept after an account is deleted, because a sale has to stay auditable and Singapore tax law requires business records to be kept for at least five years.
- Answers from an adviser's form, and plans shared at a private link: until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
- See or correct what we hold: email hello@getfreedomage.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
- Delete: "Delete my account" on the Your plans page closes your account and signs you out on every device. To have your saved plans and every other record about you removed as well, email us; we keep only the payment records described above.
- Withdraw consent: to stop the occasional notes, reply to any of them or email us. You can withdraw consent for anything else by emailing us. If that means we can no longer keep or deliver your plan, we will tell you before we act.
Do Not Call
Freedom Age does not ask for your phone number, and we do not call, text or message Singapore telephone numbers for marketing. We would only do so with your clear consent and after checking the Do Not Call Registry, as the PDPA requires.
Cookies and your browser
We set one cookie, to keep you signed in once you have entered a sign-in code. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and there are no third-party cookies on this site. The page also keeps your answers in your own browser's storage, and a reference to your checkout so that a paid plan opens when you come back from Stripe. Clearing your browser's storage removes both.
Where you came from. If you arrive through a link that carries a campaign tag (words such as utm_source=newsletter), your browser keeps that tag, the site you came from (its name only) and the page you landed on for the length of your visit, in session storage. If you start a checkout, we pass them to Stripe with the payment and keep them with the checkout record, so we can tell which of our own links led to a purchase. They are never combined with anything else about you, and closing the tab removes them from your browser.
Counting visits. When a page opens, we add one to a tally of page views by type of page (for example "guide" or "home"), by the name of the site that sent you (or "direct"), and by the campaign word if the link had one. We do not store your IP address, the address of the page you saw, your browser details or any cookie value, so no tally can be traced to you. Our own team's browsers carry a marker cookie, navaro_internal, so our own visits are left out of the tally; strangers never receive it. Visits from search-engine and other automated crawlers are not counted.
